It may not be a big news story now but COVID-19 is still around and could cause some members serious health problems despite vaccinations and so as restrictions are lifted in many settings including the club, if you feel unwell, have a cough, temperature, loss of taste or smell, or have been in contact with Covid 19

please do not attend, take a lateral flow test and - seek medical advice.

Due to the changes in law the previous safety conditions have been suspended.  Some of the rules however are just sensible such as:

1. Wear a mask and visor at all times.

2. Respect the 2 metre distancing rule

3. Clean all contact surfaces used ie. benches, chisels, drills, band saw, lathe, ancillary equipment, handles and switches as required both during the session and at the end.

4. Only use allocated machines as set out and not to interfere with ventilation measures.

•Updated re opening Plan

The online booking system will allow for 19 places to be prebooked .

The club will open at 8.30 am (and unless prior notice is given indicating a later arrival time) these bookings will be held until 9.30am.

Any member who has not booked a place will only be admitted if a vacancy exists.

Do not attend if you are unwell or have been in contact with someone who has proved positive to COVID-19.

Members are once again reminded that everyone has to play their part in not only safety issues but also responsibility for club cleanliness and maintaining tidiness at all times.

Finally please remember only two blue badge holders are allowed to bring a vehicle beyond the barrier.
